ConsumerProtect is a non-profit, multicultural consumer education and protection organization that was founded in 1998 by a team of former executives of Korean auto making companies..
Tired of the vicious dumping and borrowing circle set in motion by the greedy and lunatic families that own, control and run the automobile- manufacturing companies in Korea, members of our team have resigned their key positions in these companies and decided to fight, denounce and expose these families along with their unfair and illegal practices.
Our objective is to help save lives and save economies that are being systematically sabotaged by these families. The millions of dumped Korean-made cars everywhere happen to be unsafe and are irresponsibly left unrecalled for too long in over 120 countries. They do not only damage the auto industries and economies of other countries. They pose very serious threat to the lives and safety of people there, otherwise the very same cars would not have been recalled for safety reasons several times in Korea, USA and EU only. In fact, these cars have caused thousands of people to get killed or injured in so many countries.
Our mission is to educate and alert customers, competition and authorities everywhere as to the ways these families sneakily sabotage economies and unfairly beat competition and cheat customers.
The first economy these families sabotaged was the Korean. They also sabotaged the economies of south east Asia. They are now hurting the automobile industries in the US, Japan and EU by their uncompetitive and dumping policies, causing tens of thousands of workers there to lose their jobs.
We endeavor through effective campaigning to rally worldwide condemnation of these crime families and to end their grip of the economic and political lives in Korea and in other countries too.
We are proud that our efforts have begun to bear fruit:
- The sales of Korean-made cars have been dwindling steadily in most territories for the past six months.
- Their reputation and credibility have been tarnished beyond repair following the recall and false labeling scandals.
- Hyundai, Kia, Daewoo, Samsung and Ssangyong need to raise over US$ 100 billion in the coming 5 years to fend off and cover damages claimed by consumer agencies and organizations, competition and customers around the world for knowingly selling seriously unsafe and cheated cars.
In fact, our campaign is so successful that the Korean automakers and some of their dealers began to send us criminal threats, hack our computers and hijack our websites and mailboxes. As we said, they cannot stop us. We will continue to denounce the wrongdoings systematically committed by all the Korean automaker.
As former executives of the Korean auto manufacturing companies, we create and dedicate this website and the horrific first-hand information it contains to the following to enable them to take due actions to save lives:
1) The owners of Korean-made cars everywhere.
2) Consumer organizations and agencies in all countries.
3) Transport Ministries and justice departments everywhere.
